Mission Statement
Open Medicine Foundation has the bold mission of solving and breaking the cycle of chronic complex diseases like ME/CFS, Long COVID / Post-Treatment COVID, Post-Treatment Lyme, and others with a post infectious/post-trigger onset. Vital to this mission is to financially support outcome-directed research at global centers that work openly, urgently, and collaboratively with each other (and the broader research community of scientists and clinicians), and eventually translate findings to treatments.Â

We are doubling down on cryptocurrency and will use these contributions to fund research that tackles the following:
-Create a clear understanding of the illnesses at a molecular level and systems understanding of the pathways and cause/effect mechanisms
-Identify biomarkers for testing and treatments and prevention.
-Continue development of a state-of-the-art research platform for computational analysis, data curation, and data sharing.
-Provide a data-driven model of understanding of the illnesses that can be applied consistently across the globe.
-Make use of experts, technologies, and research centers that can most cost effectively and quickly advance understanding and innovation.
-Provide a workable framework for clinicians and patients.
-Apply this model of understanding to other similar diseases, to expand our global collective knowledge.Â
